Adrienne Lynch is an explorer, writer, and artist with the soul of a teacher. After 15 years spent pursuing a career as a ceramic sculptor and art educator, she hit a wall and began a process of reorienting her life. In 2013, she and her boyfriend Jason, a geologist, outdoorsman, and Youtube enthusiast, moved from Atlanta, Georgia to Carlsbad, New Mexico. Catapulted squarely into the unknown without a roadmap or a clue, they have been feeling their way forward by faith, trial and error, and the occasional gnashing-of-teeth ever since.
By day, Adrienne works for & with the amazing Carrasco family and their intrepid office team at M&J Services, a bustling family-owned business that works with the oilfield in the Permian Basin of Southeast New Mexico. And in her free time, she channels her curiosity and creative spirit into exploring her new desert home, photographing the vast and intricate wonders she encounters there, tending to her growing container and raised-bed gardens, reading & studying scripture with kindred spirits, writing, cooking, and occasionally remembering to vacuum and do the dishes.
She aspires to, one day, adopt a fox.
